First registered on 1st September 1967, this genuine right-hand-drive UK supplied Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider was originally finished in red with red interior. Ours is one of less than 250 RHD Duetto Spiders originally produced, so is an exceptionally rare and desirable car. Our car has gone through a total bare shell restoration, every aspect of the car has been restored or rebuilt including shell, engine, drivetrain, trim and full detailing. We have a full photographic documentation of the rebuild including a list of every item that was rebuilt or replaced throughout the process. Our car has been finished in 2k Old English White with contrasting original Alfa Romeo Red leather interior, carpets and trim. The engine is an original matching numbers 1570cc (1.6) double overhead camshaft 8 valve producing 107.5 BHP at 6,000 rpm and 139 NM torque at 2,800 rpm. Our car has twin Weber 40 DCOE 27 Carburettors and Alfa Sport exhaust back box giving an incredible soundtrack that must be heard to be appreciated. During the rebuild, our car has been fitted with widened banded wheels with original hub caps giving a much more planted appearance and improved road holding and cornering abilities. Shock absorbers have also been replaced with uprated Spax units. The engine rebuild has included an unleaded conversion, a lightened and balanced flywheel. The rebuild has also included the following non-standard items: all new carpet set and tailored boot carpets in Alfa Romeo Red, new seat belts, halogen headlights and anti-roll bar. All work has been carried out by Russell Storer at MG Mecca in Norfolk. A full list of all works completed plus photographic evidence is available to view. This is undoubtedly one of the best right-hand drive Duetto Spiders available. The total cost to build a car to this standard and specification would be in excess of £75,000. Our car is available for considerably less than the build cost at £56,500.
