Owned by Catapillar Logistics, Xpart was launched in March 2002 as a joint venture with Rover to source and distribute Rover parts and accessories to the Rover Dealer network. The Xpart All Makes programme was added in late 2004 to give the Rover network access to parts for all franchises; and then in early 2005, Xpart purchased Rover's share of the operation.
